Sunday, 8th March 2026, All day session (11:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
Enjoy a full day at The Retro Collective and take the opportunity to top up your collection with our table top sale.
Come and view & purchase our duplicate and surplus retro items to help raise funds for the museums.
There will also be sale tables by Keith with the Museum of Computing from Swindon, and Ben from Retro Sect.
We will be sorting through everything in the coming days and weeks to make sure there will be a worthwhile selection to browse through including cassette & disk games for 8 and 16-bit systems, discs for newer systems, big-box games, computers & consoles, CRT displays, printers & other accessories, and arcade items including PCBs and cocktail cabinets.
All sale proceeds will go to help us expand our museums and project spaces, and support all of the work we do here at The Retro Collective.
The day will include:
• Exclusive access to our table-top sale of games, hardware, arcade items and other curios!
• Full access to The Cave, Arcade Archive and Pump House to explore and enjoy
• A buffet lunch
• An invitation to join us for dinner in Stroud after the event
Snacks, sweets and soft drinks are also available. (Please note, The Cave operates on a cashless basis; only card payments are accepted.)
Overflow parking has been arranged due to the popularity of this event. You will be emailed details in advance to ensure you have an enjoyable visit.
We look forward to welcoming you to The Cave and Arcade Archive, a retro technology haven in the heart of The Cotswolds.
Important information
All sales are final and all items are sold untested, except where indicated. There are no returns or refunds after purchase. The full contents of the sale will not be available before the date, and items cannot be reserved. The final contents of the sale is subject to change. The event promo image is for illustrative purposes as does not represent any of the sale content.
Please try to arrive no more than 30 minutes before the scheduled start time. There is no access to any of the museum spaces or the sale items before the event begins.
We are expecting a large volume of visitors so items will be split up in different areas to control numbers, with a random selection of different items in different areas.
The Cave is located on the 4th floor of an 18th-century mill, and there are approximately 40 steps up to its entrance. Unfortunately, due to the listed nature of the building, there is no elevator.
Please note that the toilets are located on the 3rd floor and are only accessible via stairs.
If you have any questions about your visit please contact us and we will do everything we can to help you.
Please see our booking terms & conditions here.
