We are joined by 80s developer Martin Wren-Hilton, an '80s bedroom coder who had his works published by the likes of Quicksilva as early as 1982. Rarely one to give talks we're priviledged to host Martin and hear his version of events from the pioneering days of 8-bit micro game development. Martin also authored two books, "The ZX81 Add-on Book" and "Games to Play on your Spectrum".
Martin will be sharing some of his memories from the early days of the games industry, giving a fascinating insight into his journey to get a game successfully published, and his first-hand experiences during the 1980s from the intriguing world of early video games.
The day will include:
• A special talk from our guest, Martin Wren-Hilton
• Full access to The Cave, Arcade Archive and Pump House to explore and enjoy
• A buffet lunch
• An invitation to join us for dinner in Stroud after the event

Please try to arrive no more than 30 minutes before the scheduled start time. There is no access to any of the museum spaces before the event begins.
The Cave is located on the 4th floor of an 18th-century mill, and there are approximately 40 steps up to its entrance. Unfortunately, due to the listed nature of the building, there is no elevator.
Please note that the toilets are located on the 3rd floor and are only accessible via stairs.
